TERMS & CONDITIONS OF PROPERTY
RENTAL
1.
We provide a contract that must be read, signed & returned either
by e-mail, fax or post prior to your arrival.
2. A non-refundable
deposit of is taken prior to your arrival - this amount
is taken off the full rental price.
3. A booking is confirmed
once we have received both the booking form and deposit.
4. The balance of
the accommodation is to be paid 8 weeks before departure.
5. Any cancellation
must be submitted in writing and where possible received 12 weeks
prior to the holiday period.
6. In the unlikely
event that the property becomes unavailable, we as an agent will
offer alternative accommodation or if this is not required we will
provide a full refund of the deposit made. Please be advised that
we are not responsible for any cancellation or administration charges
involved with your travel arrangements.
7. If at any point
you decide to change your accommodation this will incur an administration
charge of €20, plus any increase that may be involved in the
alteration of the rental property.
8. We include in the
price of the rental, linen, water, electricity, and any maintenance
on the pool & garden (inc. community pools & gardens). Towels
are not included unless otherwise stated. Once in the property,
if for some reason there is a fault, please report this to your
agent within 24 hours, it will be presumed after this period that
all is as it should be.
9. As an agent we
do offer other services, such as Airport Transfers, Car Hire &
Welcome Packs, these are not included in the rental of the property
and will be charged in addition to this cost.
10. Please note that
it is not permitted for any other party other than that stated on
the booking form to reside in the property for the duration of your
vacation. Written permission must be sought prior to arrival if
this is required.
11. The tenant is
responsible for the property whilst occupying the house, and is
asked to leave the property as they found it. Dirty linen should
be taken off the beds and left in the bathroom for collection after
your departure.
12. Tenants are asked
to respect their neighbours and at all times conform to any community
rules that may be in place, tenants are solely responsible for themselves
and their party, any rules that are broken or behaviour that is
deemed anti social will be dealt with seriously and in extreme circumstances
tenants will be asked to leave the property immediately.
13. The agent or sub
contractors have permission at any time with regard to the convenience
of the tenant to enter the property either for repairs or general
inspections.
14. The agent holds
no responsibility for any action beyond their control, such as illness
or failure of public service. Those booking the property should
be advised that they should not undertake in any action that will
endanger the owner’s insurance policy.
15. On behalf of the
owner we are only responsible for the bookings, therefore are not
responsible for any injury, illness, death or loss or damage of
any item or member of the party during the rental period or thereafter.
16. The properties
are ready upon arrival and will be yours until you need to depart,
bookings can be made for any day of the week, and for any period
of time, however please be advised of the following conditions:
— any booking for two days or less will incur an extra charge
of €20.
— all meet and greets after 20:00hrs and before 08:00hrs will
incur an extra charge of €20.
17. Once the property
has been booked you will be provided with detailed instructions
to the meeting point discussed between you and the agent, and a
contact number if you do require emergency assistance during your
vacation.
18. If for any reason
you are not happy with your accommodation please report to the agent
immediately, who will take the necessary steps to solve the issue.
Any complaint reported after the rental period cannot be held against
the agent.
19. We will endeavour
to inform the tenant of any building work in the surrounding area;
however the agent is not liable for the noise levels or indeed any
building work that commences during your holiday.
20. We regret we cannot
accept liability or pay any compensation where the performances
or performance of our contractual obligations is prevented or affected
by ‘force majeur’ Terms & Conditions of Hire, ‘force
majeur means any event which we or the supplied service(s) in question
could not, even with due care, foresee or avoid. Such events but
are not limited to, war, threat of war, civil commotion or strife,
hostilities, strike, industrial disputes, natural disasters, fire,
acts of god, terrorist activities, quarantines, weather conditions,
government action or other events that are beyond our control.
21. The property does
not include personal insurance of any kind, and therefore it is
highly recommended that personal accident and medical insurance
is taken out before traveling.
22. Any damages that
occur during the period of rental will be the tenant’s responsibility,
with the exception of normal wear & tear, of which is also outlined
and agreed in the provided booking form. This will be deducted from
the credit card details which must be given at the time of booking.
